The selling price was a nice bonus, but the main reason we were so pleased is the extremely high level of service from every team member during the entire process. We have had many property sales transactions in the past from other very big and well-known firms, but it seems most things are left entirely up to the agent whereas with the Ihara team each part of the process is passed on to the professional in that particular area. And it makes sense because no one person could ever capably handle all the things that are involved in a real estate transaction. And with the amount of money involved it seems like that is how it should be. For example, in the past an agent would have recommendations for the cleaner, plumber, electrician or other professionals sometimes needed for some work to be done but generally left it up to us to arrange and pay the work. Not with the Ihara team! At one point, while I was about to fly out for a trip during escrow a breaker went out and I was really panicking on trying to figure out how to get it taken care of within the two hours before I was to be at the airport and not come back to a fridge full of rotten food! I finally thought to ask the Ihara team and they said not to worry but they would have their electrician check it out. They did take care of it and the price was even cheaper than if I had to find an electrician myself! We even needed tenting for termites and they arranged all that as well and were very price conscious as well rather than just hiring whoever at whatever price because it fit the schedule.
